The Ford F-150 is available in seven capable trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch®, Platinum, Limited, and Raptor.

Powertrains and Performance

Drivers have their choice of six engine options in the Ford F-150. The base engine comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. All other engines come paired with an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission.

  • The base 3.3-liter V6 engine produces 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. It earns up to an EPA-estimated 19 city/25 hwy mpg*.
  • The 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine generates 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. It’s rated for an EPA-estimated 20 city/26 hwy mpg*.
  • The 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine delivers 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. It earns up to an EPA-estimated 18 city/25 hwy mpg*.
  • The high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine hits the road with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. It’s rated for an EPA-estimated 15 city/18 hwy mpg*.
  • The 5.0-liter V8 engine delivers 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. It earns up to an EPA-estimated 17 city/23 hwy mpg*.
  • The 3.0-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel produces 250 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. It’s rated for an efficient 22 city/30hwy mpg*.

Front-wheel drive comes standard in most models. The Raptor trim features standard four-wheel drive. All engines feature standard Auto Stop/Start technology designed to improve fuel economy.

Interior Design

The Ford F-150 is more than just a capable pickup truck. The latest model features the SYNC® and SYNC® 3 infotainment systems. While the latter has more features to it, both systems help streamline time spent on the road. All models feature a helpful productivity screen that displays vital vehicle information.
