The 2019 Ford Ranger needed a performance engine that could handle the towing tasks it is built for, and the 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine was the answer. Controlled by a 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission with Tow/Haul Mode, the Ranger is able to ramp up power as needed and output 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque or manage itself for excellent fuel economy. Auto Start-Stop technology is built-in standard as well for added convenience.

Interior features of the 2019 Ford Ranger include comfort touches like four-way seating with lumbar control. Upgraded material finishes are available in the form of leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-trimmed bucket seats, and ambient lighting. Technology has been built into the cab to improve the ride like the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, SYNC® technology, and Applink® that combine to make the most of your smart device while driving. Halogen headlamps and daytime running lamps that add to visibility day or night shine out from unique grills like the chrome offering on the XLT trim. Available extra features give additional versatility in extreme conditions like heated power-folding exterior mirrors to keep frost and ice at bay. Adding to the versatility of the Ranger is a rear underframe spare tire carrier to keep you prepared without wasting bed space.
