Powering the 2019 Ford Expedition is a 3.5-liter  EcoBoost® engine that is managed by a 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission. With this impressively powerful setup the Expedition is able to output 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard with four-wheel drive being available on all trims. The Ford Expedition offers best in class towing of up to 9,300 pounds when properly equipped with the available towing packages.

 

2019 Ford Expedition Interior Design

The interior of the 2019 Ford Expedition once more sets it apart. A standard nine speaker audio system can be upgraded to a B&O sound system by Bang & Olufsen. Plenty of media is available to enjoy with HD Radio™ and SiriusXM® options as well as SYNC® technology to bring your own media collection with you. Comfort features abound across the interior’s three rows of seating that hold up to eight passengers. If not using all the passenger space it is easy to swap and make full use of the rear storage area thanks to PowerFold® and power recline 60/40 third-row seating and fold-flat-to-floor seating designs.

 

2019 Ford Expedition Safety

Advanced safety features have been engineered into the 2019 Ford Expedition. The standard rear view camera is enhanced with backup assist grid lines and a washer to keep visibility clear. An individual tire pressure monitoring system keeps real time track for any loss of tire pressure and can give warning when a tire needs inflation. Additional safety features are available like adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane keeping assist, and lane keep alerts to help inform the driver in a variety of traffic conditions.
